THERE ARE CANVA TEMPLATES FOR
The Design Academy is for you if:
– You want your audience to notice you on social media.
– You want to make it EASIER to create attention-grabbing images.
– You want a QUICKER way to design those images.
– You want to learn how to turn existing content into several pieces of fresh content through repurposing.
– You want actionable help and advice with content creation.
And incidentally, everything you learn in the Design Academy – and all of the image templates – can be used for your own business… AND for your clients’ social media activities.
Which is great news if you’re a VA or a social media manager in charge of someone else’s social media accounts.
The Design Academy is probably NOT for you however if:
– You prefer blending in with the background on social media.
– You enjoy wasting hours of your time to create an image that’s still average at best.
– You love to overcomplicate your content creation so you can feel like a tortured creative genius.
The Design Academy is a members-only website with online courses, training, support, guest experts and ready-made image templates.
All of it designed to help you create effective, professional looking images – quickly and easily.
So you stand out on social media and your audience notices your content.
The courses cover everything from the basics such as fonts, colours, backgrounds – to the practical and strategic side, like where to find good images for free, and how to ensure you have a steady flow of your own image content without burning out.
And not with some expensive AF piece of kit either. But quite simply with Canva, a free and easy to use online tool.
Got Photoshop? There’s a dedicated course in the Design Academy with over 30 videos showing you how to use Photoshop for social media images.
But that’s not all…
The Design Academy has a growing collection of templates as well: image designs I created for you.
All you have to do is edit and adapt them to your own needs.
And yes, there’s a ‘How To’ video about that too.
What’s the use of these templates?
They speed up your image creation, saving you time and effort (not to mention, headaches).
Don’t worry about running out of material: I add new templates to the collection several times a month.
Same goes for the training videos. I keep adding more videos and topics, based on questions and requests from members.
The Design Academy will teach you everything you need to be able to create your own kick-ass social media images.
From the basics, to content strategy, which tools to use, to what principles and guidelines to follow.
And my ready-made templates make the whole process even easier and quicker for you.
Simply adapt them for your own purposes, and you’re good to go.
Most of the lessons in the different courses and trainings are videos. You can just follow along and see what happens on my computer screen.
In several of the videos I actually create an image on the spot, showing you how dead easy it really is.
I didn’t even edit out my cock-ups. Keeping it real and all that, you know.
I’ve kept the videos fairly short as well. That way, you don’t get overloaded with information.
Yes, of course.
The Design Academy is very much a ‘live’ community, and I’m in there pretty much every day.
Each lesson page has a contact button with a messaging box. So if you have any questions about a particular topic, you can send them straight to me.
Simply type your message in the contact box and click the send button.
No messing about with email, support tickets or direct messaging on social media.
There’s also a private community forum on the Design Academy website, where you can post questions, issues, ideas, requests… and a facebook group to ask questions too. Overkill? Maybe but I want you to get the support when u need it.
No, you don’t.
All you need is your average, run-of-the-mill computer with Internet access and a web browser.
There’s absolutely no need for Photoshop (although I have Photoshop lovers covered as well), powerful 3D graphics cards or any of that.
The Design Academy is built around Canva, an online tool that makes designing images a breeze.
You don’t even need to download it. You simply go to the Canva website and create your images right there.
There’s a free app you can use on your phone or tablet if you like.
PS: Got Photoshop? I have a course for that too. And it’s included with your membership of the Design Academy. Over 30 videos showing you how to use Photoshop to create images for social media.
Canva exists in both a free and a paid version.
Which one do YOU need?
Probably just the free one for now.
There’s a whole chapter in the training section of the Design Academy comparing the free and the paid version of Canva.
So you can decide what’s best for you.
But the short summary is this:
Start with the free version. It has all you need to design and edit your social media images.
The paid version offers additional features that you might want to have, depending on how much you use Canva.
But as I said, that comparison chapter in the Design Academy shows you the differences between the two.
There are no refunds
But you’re free to leave whenever you want.
The cost of the Design Academy covers you for a full years subscription. Anyone else hate monthly recurring memberships?? I do so its one price for a years membership. That way we can forget about recurring paymentsd and focus on learning, designing and content creation
